Maintenance Plans

Maintenance that prevents the emergency call

Almost every no-cool emergency we run in July was visible in April. A capacitor reading low, a condenser packed with cottonwood, a drain line half blocked — all cheap to catch and all expensive to ignore. Two visits a year is not a service upsell, it is the difference between a $0 fix in spring and a $900 one on a Saturday night.

What a tune-up actually catches

Capacitors reading low but not yet failed
Condenser coils choked with pollen, grass and cottonwood
Condensate drains beginning to block before they overflow
Refrigerant slowly leaking below charge
Loose electrical connections that arc and eventually burn
Blower wheels caked enough to cut airflow measurably

What's included

Two scheduled visits a year, spring and fall
Priority scheduling ahead of non-members
15% off all repairs, parts and labor
No overtime charges, nights or weekends
Diagnostic fee waived on repair calls
Manufacturer warranty compliance kept intact
Service history logged and available to you
How it goes

Start to finish

1

Spring: the cooling visit

Coils cleaned, refrigerant charge verified, electrical connections tightened and tested, drain cleared and treated, airflow measured. Done before the first heat wave, not during it.

2

Fall: the heating visit

Combustion analysed, heat exchanger inspected, ignition and safety controls tested, and the heat pump's defrost cycle verified. Done before the first cold snap.

3

We schedule it, not you

We call you. Members do not have to remember, and the visit lands in the shoulder season when we have room rather than in the middle of a crisis.

4

One record, kept

Readings are logged visit to visit, so a slow refrigerant loss or a capacitor trending down is visible as a trend rather than discovered as a failure.

Pricing

What the Comfort Club costs

$14 a month, cancel any time, no contract term. That covers both seasonal visits plus the member discounts. Priced against a single after-hours repair call, the plan pays for itself the first time it prevents one — and the manufacturer warranty on most systems requires documented annual maintenance to stay valid, which is a detail a lot of homeowners find out about only when they file a claim.

FAQ

Maintenance Plans questions

For a system over five years old, in this climate, yes — mostly for two reasons that have nothing to do with the tune-up itself: the member repair discount and the no-overtime clause. If your system is two years old and under full warranty, we will tell you to wait a year.
No. It is month to month and you can cancel with a phone call. Long lock-in contracts are how the industry gets a bad reputation, and we do not need one to keep customers.
The plan covers one system. A second system is $9 a month on top, since the tech is already at the house and the trip is shared.
For most manufacturers, yes — the warranty terms require documented annual maintenance by a licensed contractor. Plenty of denied claims trace back to a homeowner who never had the system serviced. We log every visit so the paperwork exists if you ever need it.
