How Catawba Comfort Heating & Air handles the information you send us through this website. Last updated August 2026.
What we collect
When you submit a quote request on this site we collect the name, phone number, email address (if you provide one), and service type you enter, along with the page you submitted from and the time of submission. We do not ask for and do not want payment details, Social Security numbers, or any other sensitive personal information through this website.
Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your request: to call or text you back about the work you asked about, to schedule an appointment, and to send you a quote. We use the page and timestamp to understand which parts of the site people ask questions from.
Text messages and consent
The quote form asks you to check two separate consent boxes, and they cover different things:
- Non-marketing messages — appointment scheduling, service reminders, and follow-ups on a quote you asked for.
- Marketing messages — special offers, promotions, and service updates.
Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of marketing messages does not stop us from contacting you about work already in progress. Consent to receive messages is never a condition of purchasing anything from us.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We use a customer relationship management platform to store contact records and send appointment messages, and that provider processes the information on our behalf under its own contractual obligations. We will disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and customer records are retained for as long as we have an active relationship with you, and afterwards for as long as we need them for warranty, permit, tax, and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your record at any time and we will, except where we are required to keep permit or tax documentation.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or opt out of messages at any time. Call (704) 555-0142 or reply STOP to a text. There is no form to fill in and no waiting period.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets first-party cookies that hold a random identifier, and it records the pages you view, roughly where you are (country, region, and city, worked out from your IP address, which Google uses for that lookup and does not store or pass on to us), and whether you tapped a call or text link or sent a request through the form. We see totals and trends, never a named individual. We do not run advertising pixels, we do not sell or share this data for advertising, and nothing you type into the form is sent to Google.
You can opt out for every site you visit with Google's browser add-on, or block analytics with your browser's tracking protection or any content blocker. Nothing on this site stops working if you do. Fonts are served from this site's own domain, so no third party sees your visit to load them.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use information you have already given us will be communicated directly.
