Indoor air quality for a humid, high-pollen region
Charlotte sits in one of the worst pollen belts in the country and runs 70%-plus outdoor humidity for months at a stretch. Both facts end up inside your house through the same duct system. Air quality equipment works, but only when it is matched to the actual complaint — allergy symptoms, a musty smell and a dust problem all have different fixes.
What we can actually fix

Diagnose before prescribing
We measure humidity, look at your filtration, and check whether the duct system is pulling unconditioned crawlspace or attic air. Very often the answer is a duct problem, not a purifier.
Filtration sized to the airflow
A four- or five-inch media cabinet catches far more than a one-inch filter and does it without strangling the blower. Fitting a high-MERV one-inch filter to a standard system is the most common self-inflicted airflow problem we see.
Humidity, in both directions
Whole-home dehumidification for the summer clamminess, whole-home humidification for winter dryness. Both are ducted rather than portable, so they work on the whole house rather than one room.
UV and treatment where it earns its keep
UV lamps at the coil genuinely control the biological growth that causes the musty smell. We fit them where that is the problem, and we tell you when they are not the answer.
What air quality work costs
A whole-home media filter cabinet runs $450–$900 installed. Coil UV treatment runs $400–$800. Whole-home dehumidifiers, the big lever for Charlotte summers, run $1,800–$3,200 installed. We price these individually rather than as a package, because most houses need one of them rather than all three.
