Any hour. You describe what is happening and we tell you honestly whether this is a now problem or a morning problem — including the times the honest answer saves you a call-out.

What to do before we arrive

For a burning smell or a CO alarm: get everyone out and call 911 or the gas utility first. For water: switch the system off at the thermostat and the breaker. We will talk you through it on the phone.

We arrive and stabilise

The first priority is making the house safe, then making it liveable. Sometimes that is a full repair on the spot and sometimes it is a safe temporary measure until a part arrives in the morning.

Same price as a Tuesday

No after-hours multiplier, no weekend surcharge, no holiday rate. Systems fail when they fail, and charging double for the timing has always struck us as a strange way to treat a neighbour.

Pricing

What an emergency call costs

The same as any other call. Our diagnostic fee applies and is waived when you approve the repair, and repairs are priced from the same flat-rate book at 2am as at 2pm. Comfort Club members do not pay the diagnostic fee at all and go to the front of the dispatch queue.
